JC Atkinson launches digital solutions division

JC Atkinson has launched an online shop to complement its 2016 brochure, as part of a new Digital Solutions division.

Both cover the company’s full range, from traditional and alternative, modern design coffins through to furniture, linings, ashes caskets and forever urns in detail, but the online portal is a one-stop-shop for funeral directors only and means they can order at any time.

To access it, a funeral director needs to register and be validated – a process that takes up to 24 hours.

Once an order has been placed, everything else – from an initial email confirming the order through to delivery notifications and invoices – is managed automatically, although a member of the office-based JC Atkinson customer service team will also review all orders manually as an extra check.

All orders placed through the new shopping system are checked and rolled over to sales software automatically, to ensure all account information is 100% secure.

The new Digital Solutions division can also design and build personalised web shops for JC Atkinson’s customers. For funeral directors, this means their business will be able to offer a personalised selection of coffins, ashes caskets and forever urns  without having to keep any stock.
