Harmony team raise £4k in charity skydive
Staff from Harmony Asian Funeral Directors have been flying high – literally.
Three courageous team members took part in a sponsored skydive from Sibson Airfield back in August and raised £4,185 for Harmony Project 12, an initiative where all cash raised through the year is matched by the company and distributed to 12 charities.
Taking their lives in their hands at 13,500 feet were HR and accounts manager Jas Kaur, funeral operative Ekroop Singh and funeral arranger Priya Kaur.
And the charity fundraising has continued this autumn with head of the family Makhan Singh, 68, doing a 50-mile bike ride last month (October). At time of writing he had already raised £2,500 for the charity Sikh Helpline.
