Finance to help your business grow

The beginning of September saw a double celebration at Funeral Director Finance. Not only was it director Iain Dangerfield’s big 50, it was also a celebration of 30 years working in the banking and finance sector.

Iain began his career at Barclays, worked up through the ranks, had a number of positions with various financial organisations and prior to leaving to start Business Finance Brokerage, was a Director with Bank of Scotland in South Wales.

For the past 11 years, Iain’s company Business Finance Brokerage, based in Llanelli, has been helping businesses all over the UK and Ireland secure the funding they need to grow. Iain has been finding that he is spending more and more time working with funeral directors as he developed a genuine interest in the profession and set up Funeral Director Finance (FDF) to reflect this.

FDF is a free service and allows a funeral director to use Iain’s expertise in sourcing the finance needed for purchases such as Vehicles and Mortuary Equipment. FDF has access to a panel of more than 40 lenders who can provide hire purchase, leasing, business loans (long and short term) and even loan facilities to assist with corporation Tax and VAT cashflow.

FDF will always aim to be competitive and have found that most clients are pleasantly surprised by the rates and terms the lenders the company can offer. The main reason clients keep using FDF is the professional and personal service provided.

Iain said “I understand that being a funeral director is not your typical 9-5 job and as such I never mind speaking to clients at the weekend or evening if it works better for them.”
Iain is also a fully qualified sports massage therapist and has treated professional international rugby players, boxers and MMA fighters in the past.
