Now FDs can create own branded service sheets and online memorials

Funeral software specialist Eulogica has unveiled two new services – online memorials that can be branded as the funeral director’s own, and an easy-to-use service sheet module.

Both can be linked to Eulogica but can also be used without having Eulogica’s other services.

“There are online memorial products available,” said managing director David Wright. “But many of them take the user away from the funeral director’s web pages and onto a third party site, losing the personal touch.

“Our product is branded as the funeral director’s, and anyone searching the internet for the deceased person will find the funeral director’s page.”

The site can be customised to the funeral director’s design, and can hold funeral details, the facility for online donations, and for family and friends to add photographs and messages or virtual candles.

The new service sheet module allows the funeral director to generate various designs and page layouts quickly and easily, and, as it’s web-based, it can be used in any branch or out of the office on a laptop.

Once ordered, Eulogica’s central order point checks for general mistakes and then sends them to the printer. Once printed, they are delivered to the funeral director.

Funeral arranger Hayley Poole (pictured with David), of The Bristol Funeral Directors group, which has been trialling the services, says she can create a simple  sheet in just 10 minutes rather than two hours. “It cuts out the middle person,” she says.

The service sheet module also allows for generating memorial books in minutes.
